Overall introverted, maintains a professional air that is deeply ingrained into her nature after having worked as a mercenary for so many years. When around those she is comfortable around, Byleth has a teasing nature that she only shows to those she feels safe enough to be playful with. Due to her line of work, she has a tendency to internalize, compartmentalize, and bottle feelings regarding her own issues and problems and as a teacher prioritizes her students' well-being.

Abilities:

• Tactical acumen - Years of experience have given her strong tactical ability, which when paired with her strong sense of intuition allow for her to create flexible and fluid battle strategies.
• Highly proficient swordplay - Having honed her skills on the battlefield for years on end under Jeralt's watchful eye and supervision--Byleth is a force to be reckoned with in terms of close combat. Having worked as a mercenary, she has some fair proficiency in other sorts of weaponry.
• Powerful magic - Due to her ties to Sothis, her aptitude for black magic is quite high. Paired with her swordplay, she makes for a terrifying force on the battlefield.
